by Ben.
That’s a good question and I am glad you asked it. Our Pod Blog is an opportunity for us to review one of our podcast episodes and share thoughts that we have had since posting the Podcast ("Ben, why did you say that?"), update on what has happened since ("are they still flying that nazi flag?"), or give guests the space to share their thoughts on the episode after they have had some time to process.
So basically, the Pod Blog is a way for our audience to learn more about the different topics we discuss in our podcast.
This initial post will be a bit different though. In this post, I will not review any of our episodes. Instead, I want to discuss the reason we even started a podcast in the first place.
Three Trees has been in existence for 15 years now. During that time, we have had the opportunity to work with thousands of people who enter our services to engage in some sort of life change. Sometimes, it is an individual looking to receive a service required by a specific court system. Other times, it might be an organization looking to make a shift in how they supervise. Regardless of how we meet people, they all have one thing in common: they are looking to make a change and need a little help doing so. This is after all what we specialize in. Heck, it’s even in our name.
I have truly enjoyed this work and meeting people wherever they might be in life and seeing how we might be able to serve them. Something that has always been missing, in my opinion though, is the ability to connect with a larger audience who are not formally engaged in our services.
In 2022, we made it our goal to create free, meaningful, change content to support anyone who might just happen to find us online. To this end, we started our journey of change series of posts on Instagram and Facebook to ask questions that may ready people for the changes they are facing. We began a podcast that illustrates how we talk about difficult conversations and aspects of change that may not often be publicly talked about. We are in the process of creating a series of YouTube posts to explain each of the lessons in the workbooks we offer. And, now, we are working on this Blog to help people extract more context and meaning for the podcasts they may enjoy.
We hope you find meaning in the free services we offer and we hope they assist you on your own journey of change.
